First Adventure of 2018 – Plan B

With the weather still unsettled and ongoing memories of hanging off mooring buoys for much of last year’s trips, we have decided to go to Plan B. The boat is staying in the marina for the month and we are heading off to the South of France to find some solid ground and, fingers crossed, sunshine.

We have six weeks planned. The adventure starts with a flight to Nice and a hotel booked for a couple of nights to find our feet and explore the city. From there, we plan to see where life takes us for a few weeks. Current thinking is to head into the Alps for walking and camping, and possibly a trip over to Corsica to explore all the island has to offer.

Following this we have booked to take Milos out of the water towards the end of May to antifoul and continue the boat jobs – they have been delayed due to last minute commitments and the windy, rainy weather. That should still leave us with a few days to get the boat on the water for the first time and explore some of our favourite nearby anchorages before our first six weeks is up.

In the meantime, keep following us through Twitter @HayleyKirkby1 to see where we are and what we are up too.
